Tournament Rules

b) decisions of the Tournament Committee in the use of tournament rules and the golf rules are final.

2. Eligible to play in the tournament:
a) amateurs according to the definitions contained in R&A Rules Limited:
I. players with a current, on the date of registration for the tournament, handicap card (HCP) of Polish Golf Association (PZG);
II. players with valid HCP card issued by the other than PZG national golf associations / federations, provided by current, official HCP confirmation;
b) no registered / certified handicap results in the start with HCP = 0;
c) maximum HCP allowed is 45 (all with HCP higher than 45 play with HCP = 45);
f) junior players are considered up to 12 years old.

3. Rules and golf etiquette:
a) tournament is played according to the Rules of Golf, approved by R&A Rules Limited and the Local Rules of Binowo Park Golf Club, approved by the Tournament Committee;

4. Tournament format, tees:
a) Tournament consists:
I. 22 Thursday’s rounds played in terms:
- April 20, 27
- May, 4, 11, 25
- May, Herring Golf Cup 18
- June, 01, 08, 22, 29
- July, 06, 13, 20, 27
- August, 03, 10, 17, 31
- September, 07, 14, 21, 28,
- October, 05
II. The final round played on 30.09.2017
b) first Thursday’s round is the first day of the tournament;
c) each round is 18 holes round in Stableford Net;
d) max strokes PAR +5
e) the condition to pass Thursday’s round is to play in a group of minimum 3 persons;
f) each player has the right to take part in any number of rounds included in the tournament;
g) tournament is played in groups:
I. women;
II. men with HCP<=12;
III. men with HCP 12,1-25;
IV. men with HCP >=25,1;
h) about belonging to each group determines gender and handicap value determined at the beginning of the tournament and cannot be changed during it;
i) tee:
I. women and juniors – red tee;
II. men – yellow tee; 4/7

5. Scoring system and classification:
a) round is played in the Stableford Net, playing HCP is set on the day of the round. Playing HCP is integer (0,5 is rounded up) calculated from the formula: EXACT HCP x (SR/113) + (CR–PAR);
b) the final classification consists of the sum of STB points from at most 8 best Thursday’s rounds and doubled number of STB points from the final round;
c) classification will be conducted up to date and will be available in Binowo Park Golf Club.

6. Submissions, start lists:
a) application to the round is an automatic notification to the tournament;
b) notification to Thursday’s round is accepted only at the Binowo Park Golf Club reception and must occur before the start of the game;
c) application for the final round is assumed only via the www.binowopark.pl website or in the club reception latest the day before the tournament;
d) order of application decides about qualification for the final round;
e) start list for the final round will be published till 18:00 on the day before the round.

7. Tournament fees:
a) the fee for the round must be paid no later than at the day of the round;
b) fee for Thursday’s round (except the Herring golf cup):
I. Binowo Park Golf Club members: 50 pln;
II. other players: 150 pln;
c) ) fee for Herring Golf Cup Thursday’s round:
I. Binowo Park Golf Club members: 300 pln;
II. other players: 300 pln;
d) final round tournament fee:
I. Binowo Park Golf Club members: 50 pln, plus 95pln – catering fee;
II. other players: league green fee 150 pln, plus 95pln catering fee;

8. Start time and flights:
a) start in Thursday’s round only at 7:00 - 18:00 o’clock, on the basis of general places availability;
b) Thursday’s flights should count not less than 3 players;

9. Scorecards returning:
a) marker is required to write down gross score of player and himself (or ‘-‘ sign) for each hole;
b) responsibility for providing correct and complete results and valid signatures on the cards rests with the player;
c) Binowo Park Golf Club reception receives the scorecards within 15 minutes after the end of the round;
d) if player does not pass his card according to the above rules, may be disqualified, unless circumstances (Reg. 6-6b).

10. Prizes:
a) for places: 1 to 3 in the classification in groups:
I. women;
II. men with HCP<=12;
III. men with HCP 12,1-25;
IV. men with HCP >=25,1;
b) additional contests during the final round:
I. „Longest Drive” - women;
II. „Longest Drive” - men;
III. „Nearest to the Pin”.
c) winners of each group qualify for the Ryder Cup Szczecin team.

11.The ties settle rules after the final round:
a) in case of gaining by the players in the same category, the same number of point, the order of the places is determined by the number of points scored in the final;
b) in other cases, better result (STB) decides in the following order: last 9 holes, last 6 holes, last 3 holes, last hole, lower HCP, draw;

12. Balls and golf clubs:
Balls and clubs used in the tournament must be approved for amateur games by R&A Rules Limited (http://www.randa.org).
